My own personal experience of counselling and then psychotherapy came many years ago when I was having emotional problems as a young woman; I felt unable to make sense of the world and how to ‘be’ in it and wondered if the sadness, depression and anxiety would ever change in me.  The immense help I gained from therapy convinced me that this was my life’s work.  I trained first as a counsellor and then my move from London to the beautiful Cotswold countryside prompted a re-evaluation and I embarked on training as a psychotherapist.

My counselling diploma draws on the Person-Centred approach and once qualified I gained a broad experience of client work within a G.P practice, agency work and in private practice. I am registered and Accredited with BACP.

I trained at Metanoia Institute for my Diploma and MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and I am fully registered with UKCP.

I hold a Certificate in Supervision from CSTD in Bath; I balance my work with clients and supervisees with teaching on the BACP and UKCP accredited Counselling Diploma at BCPC in Bath..

My dog helps me balance my work with demands for getting out into nature for walks!
